CLINIC RESULTS

Assuming that we can get material and that it's interpretable on site, a preliminary diagnosis can be provided to you before you leave the Clinic. Keep in mind that this is preliminary. Only one third of the biopsy material is examined on site; the remainder of the specimen requires an overnight process. It's rare but on occasion this result does change.

The final report will be sent to the physician that ordered the test. This final report is made available to you either from the ordering physician or by coming to the lab and presenting photo identification.

Sometimes patients call the lab and want to discuss results over the phone. Under no circumstance do we discuss results over the phone simply because your identity cannot be confirmed and we are interested in protecting your privacy.
